This new composition of matter contains two novel Kifap3 mouse alleles that provide new tools for studying the function of kinesin‑associated protein 3 and its relevance to human disease. Together, these mouse models establish a valuable platform for investigating Kifap3 biology, elucidating disease mechanisms, and supporting proof‑of‑concept studies for potential therapeutic interventions.
