Currently, tape measures are used to measure the ulna which has caused issues regarding sanitation and durability. Researchers at Nationwide Children’s Hospital developed the ulna length board, a 3-D printed device for measuring the ulna length. This new model is easier to clean, cheaper to produce, and more durable. The plastic material ensures no rusting will occur and a quick cleaning process.
